Poker
A typical 52-card deck is used, occasionally supplemented with one or two jokers. Although poker is a single pack game, in order to speed up play, two different coloured packs are now used in almost all games played in clubs and among elite players. The other pack is mixed and ready for the next deal while the first pack is dealt. When dealing with two packs, the previous dealer gathers all of the cards in the deck, shuffles them, and rotates them anticlockwise.
The shuffled deck is passed to the following dealer when it's time for a new deal. When two packs are used in a game, the dealer's left opponent usually slices the pack rather than his right opponent. Clubs usually replace cards on a regular basis and let players ask for new ones at any time. Both packs are changed when new cards are added, and the new decks' cellophane and seal must be destroyed in front of every participant.
